Three hills, 24 miles, one fantastic cause!

Conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks for Made With Hope

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks ascends the three highest peaks in Yorkshire (Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Inglebrough), taking in over 5000ft of ascent/descent over a distance of roughly 36.6km (24 miles). It is a circular route, starting and ending in the village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Most people will complete the challenge within 10-12 hours, but completing the circuit in any time is both a great achievement and achievable for most.

A member of our Made with Hope team will be there at the beginning and end of your challenge to spur on your team and congratulate their success!

It will be a day full of fun and achievement that will be helping to make a huge impact on the lives of children in rural Tanzania. Are you up for the challenge?

Fundraise for Made With Hope

We ask that everyone participating in this event commits to fundraising at least £250 for Made With Hope. Once you’ve registered, we’ll be in touch with ideas and support to help you reach your target.

About the challenge

This challenge is run by Lost Earth Adventures in support of Made With Hope. Your team will meet with your Mountain Leaders in Horton in Ribblesdale, Yorkshire Dales National Park, ready for an early start. Your walk will then take you in a circular route through the hills of the dales whilst climbing over the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and aiming to complete the challenge in sub 12 hours.

Fee Transparency

There's a registration fee which goes directly to paying for the guide and support that will be provided for all walkers on the day to keep the event safe and successful. This is usually around £70 but it depends on the group size. Some charities chose to take the fee out of walkers' fundraising target. Because we value transparency, we have chosen not to do this. This means that all sponsorship money raised goes to supporting education in Tanzania and not the costs of organising the event, and it’s much clearer to both participants and sponsors where their money is going.
