From Overcrowded Classrooms to Brighter Futures: Mzimuni Primary School
Imagine trying to learn in an overcrowded, deteriorating classroom, with barely enough space to concentrate.
For 700 children at Mzimuni Primary School in rural Tanzania, this was their everyday reality.
In 2025, thanks to our incredible donors and our local partner Ndoto in Action, we invested £103,102 to transform their learning environment.
Together, we constructed and renovated 10 classrooms, provided 135 desks and supplied essential learning materials.
The difference has been remarkable. Children now have safer, brighter and more comfortable classrooms, giving them the space to concentrate, participate and enjoy learning.
One student told us:
"Now I have space, and I feel happy to learn. The improved classroom environment makes it easier for me to concentrate and participate in lessons."
This project is about so much more than buildings. It's about giving children the opportunity to reach their potential through education.
