We would love to get involved with your school!
We love working with schools to help inspire the next generation. We have worked with several schools in different ways, working with teachers to support their curriculum needs.
Sale Grammar School
We have a continuing partnership with Sale Grammar and have visited the school to do talks about Tanzania and running a small charity, several times. We have supported their Geography curriculum by leading international development talks to several Year 8 classes. This is an ongoing partnership that we are continuing to develop.
Hurdsfield Primary School
Hurdsfield Primary School used the writing element of their curriculum to raise funds for a water filter for 30 children in Tanzania, Africa. Their teacher taught her pupils about making persuasive posters for clean water in Africa. They then organised a sponsored walk around their field carrying heavy bottles of water, to symbolise the struggles some children face each day. We then visited their school and talked to them about the importance of clean water, gave a certificate for their hard work and followed up with real photos from the children they helped.
Templemoor Infant School
We visited Templemoor Infant school to thank them for the fundraising they did for our projects. We gave an hours talk teaching them all about Tanzanian life for children and, upon request, related our talk to the UN Child Rights to support their current curriculum. There was dressing up, fun games and lots of opportunities for questions and answers.
