CHETI Secondary School

CHETI Secondary School is located in the rural village of Nadasoito. The area has no access to fresh drinking water, no electricity and no public transport. The local community are mainly part of the Massai tribe, living in a mix of mud huts and brick houses, the majority of adults are illiterate and earn less than $50 a month. This community had no secondary school. Children had to walk 8km to a government school where classrooms were overcrowded and education was poor.

  • Install rain water harvesting to collect drinking water

  • Income generation activities to support school self-sustainability
